BREAKING: Fallon Smith of CSN Bay Area reports the Giants and WR James Jones have agreed to a one-year deal.
This deal comes on the eve of the Giants start to training camp and it’s an interesting move. Jones had previously played in Giants OC Ben MacAdoo’s system when the two were paired together in Green Bay. MacAdoo worked on the staff for Jones
first seven years as a pro, starting in 2007. The two separated last summer when Ben MacAdoo left to join the Giants and Jones to join the Raiders.
The rich only get richer in this signing. The Giants are already stockpiled at wide receiver, now with the addition of an experienced Jones, both in the NFL and the MacAdoo system, he can really contribute to this team.
Jones has hauled in 4,971 yards and 43 touchdowns over his eight-year career in the league.
Do you like the signing of the 31 year old wide-out?
If the Giant Defense is gonna be bad, they are gonna need to score a lot to win. Sure hes a good pick up
